Student Voice, Literacy and Numeracy Series 2022-23
Greater Victoria School District 61 and the Rural Education Advisory invite educators in BC to join in a conversation about engaging all learners in the middle years. Our three-part interactive webinar series in 2022-23 will be hosted by Dr. Leyton Schnellert with special guests for each session focused on Student Voice, Literacy and Numeracy. Guiding questions for this series are:
- How can we welcome the diverse funds of knowledge that middle years students have to deepen and personalize their learning?
- How can we engage middle years learners with pedagogies that are student-centered, identity affirming, and diversity-positive?
Session 1:
